Welcome To Adopt A Friend Inc.

We are a local, NO KILL, non profit 501 (c) 3, animal resuce shelter located in Weston, Wv.

We take in stray animals, unwanted animals and animals brought to us from the animal wardens through out Lewis County.We can house up to 15 dogs and as many as 60 cats at the present time. We would love to find forever homes for all these loving animals. These animals that we take in are here till we can find them a new home so please contact us today and make an appointment to Adopt A Friend in need.

Please know that Adopt A Friend Inc. is a non profit no kill shelter that operates on donations only, we do not charge adoption fees.

Thanks to all who have recently supported us!

On September 17th we held a day fundraiser in Weston where to the thanks of caring people we were able to raise over $300 and find several cats new homes. Thanks to the United Bank in Weston for your assisance.
Also we are pleased to announce that our recent addition of kittens and puppies have all found loving homes. Thanks to all who showed interest and opened their hearts to help!

In Loving Memory of our friend and supporter, Lisa Hyer

On Friday March 12th, 2010 we lost a dear friend and volunteer, Lisa Hyer. Lisa took care of the website for Adopt-A-Friend as well as spent time at the facility caring for all the animals. Lisa loved her work with Adopt-A-Friend as a NO KILL animal shelter, something she strongly believed in. She will be dearly missed by all. She will live in our thoughts and our hearts forever as well as in the work we do to to give each animal a voice and a chance for hope.
